Meghan Markle Starred in a Hallmark Movie Before Marrying Prince Harry — Here’s How to Watch!

With Valentine’s Day right around the corner, the Hallmark channel has been gearing up for a marathon of some of their greatest romance movies. And one movie, in particular, features a very familiar face. Meghan Markle portrayed the role of Cassandra Barber in the TV movie Dater’s Choice back in 2016, nearly two years before she tied the knot to Prince Harry — and you’re going to want to watch it when it airs!

“Realizing she has a recurring habit of picking the wrong type of guy, Cassandra Barber (Meghan Markle) turns to relationship expert, Dr. Susie, and her latest self-help book, ‘The Dater’s Handbook’ to help with her ailing love life,” the synopsis reads. “She follows the advice in Dr. Susie’s book to evaluate potential suitors, and then must ultimately choose between reliable George (Jonathan Scarfe) and fun-loving Robert (Kristoffer Polaha). It’s hard to change old habits and place your faith in the experts, especially when your heart tells you something different.”

“I’m trying to change how I choose relationships,” Markle says in the promo clip below.

Though Meghan’s character is torn between two men in the movie, thankfully her real-life relationship is rock solid. The actress happily wed Prince Harry in May 2018 and has since welcomed a beautiful son, Archie. The couple recently shocked royal fans when they announced they’d be separating themselves from the royal family and relocating to Canada — a move that has made them happier than ever.

“This decision [to leave] had been weighing on them for a long time, and they are relieved to have it done,” the source previously told People. “A weight has been lifted off their shoulders.”

Now, with the royal duties behind her, Meghan has been able to focus on projects that she’s passionate about, including a potential voiceover deal with Disney. And because of that, it couldn’t be a better time to look back at how far the actress has come. So be sure to set your DVRs, because Meghan’s Hallmark movie will air on Monday, February 10 at 10pm EST on the Hallmark channel. If you miss that, there are two other times you can catch it on television: Sunday, March 1 at 4:30am EST and Thursday, March 12 at 4pm EST.
