We love to see royals consorting with celebrities — remember those amazing pictures of Prince Harry and Meghan Markle meeting Beyoncé and Jay-Z?! Well, the latest royal run-in with a celeb has us going nuts with curiosity: Harry and Ed Sheeran teased a new project together on Instagram for World Mental Health Day, and the video has everyone in a tizzy trying to figure out what the collaboration could possibly be. Will Harry be featured on one of Sheeran’s songs? Will Sheeran be getting Archie’s name tattooed on his neck? The possibilities are endless!
The video itself is hilarious: Sheeran knocks on Harry’s door, and the doorbell tone plays “God Save The Queen.” Harry opens the door to Sheeran: “It’s like looking in a mirror,” the Duke of Sussex quips. “Do you mind if I bring the camera in?” Sheeran asks, gesturing behind him. “Of course,” Harry obliges, and steps aside to let Sheeran and the camera crew enter as the screen fades to black. “Tomorrow 10th October” flashes across the screen.
The caption is equally tease-y: “Coming soon… @teddysphotos • #WMHD,” it reads. October 10 is World Mental Health Day, so we’ve got that one figured out. But other than that, it’s anyone’s guess. Fans are freaking out in the comments section, trying to figure out what’s going on. “WHAT IS HAPPENINGGGGGG” one comment reads. “Why isn’t TODAY, tomorrow?!” another adds. “Can’t wait!!”
We popped over to Sheeran’s Instagram page to see whether he was sharing any new details, but all we found was behind-the-scenes shots from filming a music video for “South of the Border.” Whatever Sheeran is up to, it’s fun to see how many random projects he’s managed to poke his head into (Game of Thrones, anyone?). And it’ll be even more fun when we find out what these two redheads have been up to.
