It may still be officially summer, but Hallmark’s fall movies are launching later this month — and based on the looks of the lineup, we have plenty of star-studded goodness coming our way. Hallmark has announced five movies as part of its Fall Harvest special, and they all look like perfect autumnal viewing material — particularly if you happen to whip up a freshly baked apple pie to go with your movie marathon. (OK, or a bag of microwave popcorn.)
One major change? Former Hallmark mainstay Lori Laughlin won’t appear in any of the movies (and we probably don’t have to tell you why). But there are both fresh and familiar faces to be found here, and the themes of most of the movies scream “fall” so loudly, you can practically see the leaves changing colors already.
First up, there’s Over the Moon in Love, which stars Jessica Lowndes and Hallmark movie staple Wes Brown as a matchmaker and a magazine writer, respectively. This one kicks off the movie series on September 21 — and if we had to guess, we’d say this one probably ends with the two leads falling in love. The series ends on October 19 with a perfectly Halloween-y installment: Good Witch: Curse From a Rose. This one stars James Denton and Catherine Bell, and incorporates some Halloween-appropriate supernatural elements.
If you’re anything like us, you’ll choose to watch them all from underneath a cozy blanket. Here’s the full lineup:
