Meghan Markle & Serena Williams Are Reuniting at Wimbledon & We Need Pics ASAP

July is around the corner, which means Wimbledon season is upon us. The two-week tennis tournament will bring together the cream of the tennis-playing crop, including legend, Serena Williams. In light of this, a royal source has come forward to reveal Meghan Markle will support Serena Williams at Wimbledon 2019.

Speaking with Entertainment Tonight, the royal source revealed that Meghan is very keen to attend Wimbledon this year to support her best friend. In fact, the new mom is so intent on attending that the only thing that would keep her away is if “‘the baby keeps her home last minute.” Talk about dedication to a friendship!

In 2018, Meghan made her Wimbledon debut, attending with her sister-in-law, Kate Middleton. At the time, Meghan and Kate had been weathering feud rumors (and wouldn’t you know it, not much has changed on that front). Still the sisters-in-law made a great show of their time together. The pair had been there to support Williams too and were seen on their feet in the stands, watching attentively and clapping for Williams when she scored a point.

Meghan has been beyond busy with life as a new mom to her son, Archie Harrison Mountbatten-Windsor. Archie was born on May 6, and since then, it’s been a whirlwind. There have been photo shoots, family visits and a christening to plan; how does Meghan have the time and energy? Luckily, Williams has been able to find time in her own schedule to visit with Meghan and Archie because duh, that’s how best friends roll. It looks like Meghan is very much ready to return the favor and come out to support her friend as she battles it out on the court in a few weeks time.

Williams and Meghan have been friends for more than five years. They met in February 2014 at DirectTV’s Celebrity Beach Bowl together. “We hit it off immediately, taking pictures, laughing through the flag football game we were both playing in, and chatting not about tennis or acting, but about all the good old fashioned girly stuff,” Meghan wrote on her now-defunct site The Tig. “So began our friendship.” Williams, along with her husband Alexis Ohanian, was also one of Meghan’s celebrity guests at her wedding to Prince Harry in 2018.
