A Prowler Call Was Reportedly Made at Hilary Duff & Matthew Koma’s Home

Things got a little hairy for new parents Hilary Duff and Matthew Koma. According to TMZ, police responded to a March 19 call about a trespassing prowler on Duff and Koma’s property in Beverly Hills. This is the second time that an intruder has entered Duff’s property but luckily, just like last time, Duff and her family are safe.

TMZ’s report notes the couple allegedly made the call around 8:30 in the evening local time after they noticed a man in their backyard. It’s unclear how the man got onto the property or why he was there to begin with. Duff and Koma scared him off and he was gone by the time police showed up to investigate. TMZ reports police checked the home, inside and outside, and noticed a screen had been removed from one of the windows.

TMZ didn’t confirm whether the couple’s 4-month-old daughter, Banks, and Duff’s son, 7-year-old Luca, were in the home at the time.

In 2017, the same home Duff and Koma are currently living in was targeted in a burglary. Duff was not home at the time as she was vacationing in Canada with her son. According to Page Six, some of Duff’s jewelry valued in the thousands of dollars was taken.

At the time of the incident, a rep for Duff stated, “This is a scary and upsetting situation for anyone to go through, but Hilary is thankful that her family, her staff, her home and her pets are all safe.”

Neither Duff nor Koma have released a statement about this recent incident.
