Colton Underwood has yet to hand out his final rose, but that isn’t stopping fans from trying to ferret out clues about the future of the franchise. Most pointedly, everyone’s dying to find out who’ll be the next rose-wielder. What have they come up with so far? Well, Bachelor Nation believes that contestant Hannah Brown might be the next Bachelorette — and they feel like the smoking gun was a conversation Brown had with host Chris Harrison during The Bachelor: The Women Tell All reunion episode on Tuesday, March 5.
Brown, whose claim to fame is being Miss Alabama 2018, made it all the way to a hometown date with Underwood on this season’s Bachelor before he decided to send her home (which landed her in 7th place, so to speak). However, when Brown sat down on stage with Harrison during the reunion special, the pair seemed to imply they would be seeing more of each other in the near future.
“Here’s to you finding fierce love,” Harrison toasted. In turn, Brown responded, “Cheers to this beautiful day together, new experiences, and continuing to be honest, real, every moment we have together. And… Roll Tide!”
While that last sentiment only proves that ‘Bama fans are diehard, it — plus the fact that Harrison was really leaning into the “fierce love” phrase in person and on social media — has Bachelor Nation convinced Brown will be the next Bachelorette.

Chris Harrison turning to Hannah B. to get her feelings about Colton sending her home, right after Caelynn asked him the same, was even more confirmation of Hannah being in the running for #TheBachelorette.
Her response was great. Handled it like a champ.#WomenTellAll— I crave star damage. (@ItsNasB) March 6, 2019

Wow, Chris Harrison is seriously teeing up Hannah B to be #TheBachelorette. Even pointing out her good lines to use. "I want someone to love me fiercely." #thebachelor

For what it’s worth — and spoiler alert! — Reality Steve, a reliable predictor of all things Bachelor Nation, seems to have confirmed fans’ suspicions on March 4, suggesting that “Hannah B. is gonna be your next ‘Bachelorette.’” However, Steve thought the official announcement would be made during the Women Tell All special. So, maybe that convo Brown had with Harrison served as a sort of unofficial announcement. Or perhaps it was meant to be something more and plans changed at the last minute.
Throughout the season, Hannah’s jealousy-slash-competitive-nature with a contestant named Caelynn has been her sort of defining impression. Clearly, becoming the Bachelorette means she wouldn’t have to worry about any competition. No word yet from Harrison on when he’ll make the final Bachelorette announcement but, if the fandom is to be believed, we already know what he’s going to say.
