There’s no better way to start off a new year than with some exciting celebrity baby news, so of course, when we learned Danielle Fishel is pregnant with her first child with husband Jensen Karp, we got seriously excited. Heck, we can’t wait to follow one of our favorite Boy Meets World alums on her pregnancy journey. But first, we have to take a look at Fishel’s pregnancy announcement, because it’s the epitome of adorable.
Fishel took to Instagram on Tuesday to confirm in a poetic yet fairly low-key way she was pregnant with her first child, a baby boy.
“I’m eating for two. I’m napping with wild abandon. Baby shoes. Baby clothes. (I’m shopping). I’m nesting. I’m reading books. I’m madly in love with my husband. I cry at commercials. I’m a walking cliché. I’ve got baby apps. I’m confident. I feel inadequate. I’m showing one day and the next I’m not. I’m nervous. I’m excited. He’s due in July. We can’t wait. #BabyKarp2019,” Fishel captioned a photo of three sets of shoes. The two pairs in the background look like they’d fit Fishel and Karp, but in the foreground, you can see that they’ve already bought their soon-to-be son a pair too.

Fishel also hopped onto her Instagram Story to post a Boomerang video originally taken on Dec. 31, 2018 of a doughnut delivery from Blinkie’s Donuts that featured a special message.
“@blinkiesdonuts did a reveal for us on NYE and it was delicious,” Fishel captioned the video, showing individual doughnuts spelling out “It’s a boy!”
Some of our favorite celeb mommas hopped into the comments section of Fishel’s announcement post to pass along their love. Christine Lakin of Step by Step fame wrote, “OMG!!! Yesssss!!! I was hoping this would happen for you this year!!! Omg I’m crying too! Stop! I’m too hormonal for this news.”
Meanwhile, Jordin Sparks wrote to Fishel, “Ahhh! Congratulations!” while Rachael Leigh Cook chimed in, “Congraaaaaats!!” and threw in a few heart emoji to really show some love.
Of course, Fishel’s hubby might have the best comment on the news, not only showing love to the mother of his child but also suggesting a name based on her pregnancy announcement: “This post is better than mine. Love you. Let’s name him Jordan.”
Jordan Karp? Fans of the couple will have to wait and see if Fishel ends up taking her husband’s name suggestion.
