Ashley Iaconetti is so ready to walk down the aisle. The Bachelor Nation alum went wedding dress shopping with her family and friends over the weekend and shared some sneak peeks of dresses she tried on with her Instagram followers. But if she said yes to any of them, she chose not to share that on social media. That's smart, since her fiancé, Jared Haibon, is one of her followers!
As reported in E! News, Iaconetti went to Kleinfeld Bridal in New York to shop, where she worked with TLC's Say Yes to the Dress stylist Diane. Before she dove into possible options for her big day, she shared a photo of herself smiling outside the shop, captioned, "I'm going wedding dress shopping today!!! …Hi, Mom!"
Iaconetti shared videos and photos on her Instagram story, including an off-the-shoulder satin ball gown like she "always imagined" wearing on her wedding day.
"When I saw it, I thought I was going to say yes to the first dress I picked out," she wrote. "But then I tried it on and felt very meh about it."
Iaconetti said that another of her potential picks, a strapless gown with a sweetheart neckline and fitted bodice, was "gorgeous, but felt like curtains."
Although it seems Iaconetti's mom wasn't with her as she shopped for dresses, she did show her grandmother in a few of her stories, including the one with the "curtains" dress. E! News reported that she also brought her sister, Lauren.
In another story update, Iaconetti absolutely beams as she appears to look at her reflection in the bridal shop mirror. She covered most of the dress's large, flowing skirt with pink flower emojis to hide the details, which is a sweet way of maintaining suspense until the big day. The part of the dress still visible has a fitted bodice with beautiful lacework, and even that small hint makes Iaconetti look like a princess.
Iaconetti also shared an unedited photo of herself in a dress, captioned, "Jared, don't look! . . . Just kidding. I did not say yes to this dress. But it'll be a ball gown for sure." She shared similar sentiments in a June interview with E! News: "[It's] got to be a princess ball gown," she said. "I can wear like a mermaid or any other type [of dress] any other time, but you only have one day to wear the ball gown."
We loved getting these glimpses into Iaconetti's shopping day, although we'd rather wait until the big day to see the actual dress, if we're honest. Iaconetti told E! News, "We would love the wedding to be televised, but we have such a big guest list that we don't want to narrow that down. So that's the one thing where I just don't know if it would work out."
No matter what happens, we can't wait to see photos from the big day. In the meantime, we're soaking up all these beautiful updates of the wedding planning process. We couldn't be happier for Iaconetti and Haibon.
