That’s right: The Kardashians are hiring.
According to Us Weekly, the Kardashians (technically, Kardashian Jenner Communications) are officially looking to hire an email marketing manager for their beauty division. If you can even believe it, the notice has appeared on LinkedIn, the professional platform used by us mere mortals, and is currently two weeks old at the time of reporting.
As fun as it may sound to work for the Kardashians, the essential duties listed for the job indicate this role is going to be hard work, especially since the role requires promoting Kardashian-Jenner brands like Kylie Cosmetics and KKW Beauty. Duties include “maintain[ing], contribut[ing] and distribut[ing] the email-marketing calendar which details dependencies and dates”; exhibiting “expertise in email production as well as sufficient knowledge of database marketing”; working “cross-functionally with the e-commerce team”; and running “A/B testing in the email platform while also providing analysis of results and opportunities to improve items such as creative, subject lines, layouts, segmentation, send times, etc.” We’re already worn out just reading through this.
There’s no word yet on whether the person who gets hired should be camera- or selfie-ready, even though there’s a good chance either of those things could happen while you’re on the clock.
