Michelle Obama Dancing Front Row at Beyoncé's Concert Is Everything
Michelle Obama can do no wrong. The former first lady reminded us she is basically a goddess living among mere mortals (read: us) when video footage surfaced over the weekend of her dancing alongside Tina Knowles Lawson at the Beyoncé and Jay-Z joint tour, "On the Run II." The video footage, much like Obama herself, is next-level delightful, and it would behoove you to pause everything and watch immediately.
According to Vulture, Obama bought a ticket for Bey and Jay's performance in Paris (how chic!). The longtime friend of music's most powerful couple was quite literally front and center, sitting alongside Knowles Lawson and getting her groove on. At one point, Jay-Z even waved to Obama and Knowles Lawson, which somehow only seems to makes this moment even more magical.
Footage of Obama dancing during Jay-Z's performance of "On to the Next One" was caught on camera by a member of the Beyhive and uploaded to Twitter for the world to see. Feast your eyes on this goodness:
In addition to video, another fan managed to get a photo of Obama in her concertgoing gear: a stylish all-white outfit perfect for the summer heat that included a flowy blouse and shorts.
Interestingly, it also looks like Obama left Barack Obama at home but brought along daughters Sasha and Malia Obama. Fans got photo evidence of both girls hanging out and chatting with other concertgoers at different points in the evening.
This concert sighting is likely the first of many upcoming appearances from Obama. With a memoir coming out in the fall and a massive Netflix deal securing tons of future projects coming our way with the Obama stamp of approval on it, it looks like Obama season is just beginning.
