Jennifer Aniston Is Down-Low Dating Again

Jennifer Aniston may be fully committed to work, friends and doing her own thing, but now we’re getting word that she may be changing her tune when it comes to romance. That is, we thought she had put it squarely on the back burner when it appears she hasn’t. Us Weekly reported that the actor has quietly waded back into the dating pool, and this time around, she’s staying away from actors (for now).

A source told the magazine that everything is still “very hush-hush,” which makes sense for anyone who’s recently been through a breakup, let alone a celebrity. Aniston split from her husband, Justin Theroux, five months ago after two-and-a-half years of marriage and seven years together.

It should be no surprise that she has two men vying for her attention right now. One is reportedly a “tech titan” who “[R]ecently split from his wife and is trying to win over Jen,” and who was introduced to Aniston by a mutual friend according to Us Weekly. The other gent does work in a creative field but wasn’t reported to be an actor. Rather, he is “an industry creative she met when they started working on a project months ago.” We’ll save you a trip over to IMDb to see what projects she has in development. So far, there are no clues there about who it might be.

Aniston’s friends are reportedly thrilled to see her putting her heart out there again. Although a source told People in late June that “she is very happy being single” and that “she is focused on her own happiness,” it makes sense that part of that might come from meeting new people.

“Jen’s group is excited that she’s dating again. They can hardly keep it a secret when they’re so happy to see Jen moving on,” a source told Us Weekly.

Theroux and Aniston seem to have ended their marriage on good terms, which has probably made the transition back to single life slightly easier. In February, they released a statement saying the decision to divorce “was mutual and lovingly made,” going on to state: “We are two best friends who have decided to part ways as a couple, but look forward to continuing our cherished friendship.” Rumors have swirled of Theroux dating actors like Olivia Munn, Petra Collins and Emma Stone according to In Touch, but nothing has been confirmed by Theroux.

Best of luck to Aniston. Maybe the third time will be the charm.
