Eva Longoria Shows Off Her Sweet Baby Bump for Easter
You might say Eva Longoria couldn't hide her egg-citement on Easter Sunday, and it showed — quite literally. The first-time mother wished everyone a happy holiday with a sweet snapshot of her burgeoning baby bump.
On Instagram, the preggo star posted a photo of a brightly hued Easter egg perched atop her growing belly. "Happy Easter from my egg to yours!! #HappyEaster," Longoria captioned the precious picture.
And while the photo undoubtedly warmed a ton of hearts, it also set into motion some serious speculation. The bright pink Easter egg, the two pink flower emoji... is Longoria having a little girl?! Some fans sure seem to think so. "She's having a girl! Amen! Happy Easter," one wrote. "Omg you're having a girl," another exclaimed.
Could it be true? Was Longoria's adorable Easter greeting in fact a coded gender reveal? Well, there is one large fact working in opposition to that theory. Back in December 2017, People reported that the actress and her husband, José "Pepe" Antonio Bastón, were expecting a boy. Reportedly, a rep confirmed this with the outlet.
However, Longoria has remained mum on the baby's gender, so anything is possible, right? When (and if) the happy parents decide to make an official statement, it will be on their time. Until then, we're just enjoying following along with Longoria's glamorous (and often funny) pregnancy journey.
In February, she shared a snapshot of herself with a Pea in the Pod T-shirt draped over her bump that read "I Like to Think Wine Misses Me Too." Ha!
All jokes aside, of course, it's clear Longoria can't wait to bring her first child into the world. The baby will be Bastón's fourth — Longoria is stepmother to Tali, 21, and twins Jose and Mariana, 13. "They are amazing children," the actress told ET. "I'm so happy to be part of their lives."
So, this much is certain: no matter what gender Longoria's Easter egg turns out to be, it's got a big, loving family waiting to welcome it.
