Kristin Cavallari Is Returning to Reality TV
We should have known The Hills wasn't the end of Kristin Cavallari. After years of living the quiet life and raising her three kids with her NFL player husband, Jay Cutler, Cavallari is reportedly headed back to TV with a brand-new reality show of her own. No, this is not a drill.
TMZ reports that the show will be an unscripted, behind-the-scenes look at Cavallari's life in Nashville, where she now lives. It'll also follow along as she continues to build up her own fashion company. And no, we're guessing Lauren Conrad and Heidi Montag won't be making any guest appearances.
But one other famous face probably will: Cutler, who just finished his one-year contract with the Miami Dolphins. It's still unclear whether he's going to go back to playing pro football, especially since Cavallari has strongly implied in interviews that she wishes he would retire already. Regardless of Cutler's next career move, however, he's likely to be at least a semi-regular face on Cavallari's new show.
But considering that she's a working mom, will her kids be involved? Cavallari has stated pretty strongly in the past that she would never put her kids on reality TV, so it'll be interesting to see if she feels the same way now that she has her own show, which is probably pretty family-oriented. We're almost sure this one will have a lot less drama than The Hills did, and at this point in Cavallari's life, it sounds like that's a very good thing.
Cavallari's unnamed show is currently in production and set to air on E! sometime later this year. At this point, it's a little early to know whether this will be our post-Hills obsession, but we're definitely intrigued.
