Amber Heard Is Officially Not Over Elon Musk
Updated Jan. 17, 2018, 9:35 a.m. PT: It's official — after only five months of being broken up, Amber Heard and Elon Musk are back together. A source confirmed to Us Weekly they're trying again to make their relationship work.
"They are back together," the insider said. "Amber is having a good time with Elon. He wants to hang out with her all the time. She’s happy to have him. She cares about him and thinks he’s fascinating. They share a lot of interests and she finds him very intelligent and interesting and not too Hollywood."
This news comes after months of rumors sparked by Heard and Musk hanging out a bunch even though they said they were just friends. They seem like they're great together, so we're pretty excited to hear they're giving love another shot, especially after that heartbreaking interview Musk gave Rolling Stone about the breakup.
"I was really in love, and it hurt bad," he said at the time. "I’m looking for a long-term relationship. I’m not looking for a one-night stand. I’m looking for a serious companion or soulmate, that kind of thing. If I’m not in love, if I’m not with a long-term companion, I cannot be happy."
Hopefully, this time works out and Musk and Heard both find what they're looking for.
Original story, published Jan. 1, 2018: The jury is still out on whether or not Amber Heard and Elon Musk have rekindled their relationship (and they sure aren't saying anything), but these two are spending an awful lot of time together. They went on a lunch date and kissed last week (and then denied they were officially back together). And this week, they just got caught on a sneaky vacation together in Chile.
While Heard has been posting photos to her Instagram from a tropical-looking vacation for a few days now, there has been no mention of Musk in any of her posts. He hasn't appeared in any photos, either.
Nope, they were actually outed by a restaurant. El Taringa, a Santiago hotspot, posted a photo to its Instagram to celebrate having famed restaurateur/Musk's brother, Kimbal Musk, for dinner. In the background of the photo of Kimbal Musk are — you guessed it — Elon Musk and Heard.
These two think they're pretty sneaky, but their secret is out. While we could sort of almost buy their story that their lunch and that goodbye kiss afterward were the actions of too single friends, taking a holiday vacation together to South America is just a little too relationshippy to let slide. We're calling it now: These two are totally back together, even if they just won't admit it.
The jig is up, you two. You may as well come clean.
