Live with Kelly (and now Ryan)’s annual Halloween extravaganza has become a time-honored tradition of daytime television, with the costumes chosen by the hosts always proving to be a highlight. And this year? Well, let’s just say that judging by the sneak peek Kelly Ripa and Ryan Seacrest gave,
winter Halloween is coming.
And judging by the name, this year’s TV fete will be the most memorable yet. On Oct. 31 — the all-hallowed holiday itself — Ripa and Seacrest will be throwing “Kelly and Ryan’s Best Halloween Show Ever: Look What You Made Us Do.”
To amp up excitement over the highly anticipated telecast, the hosting duo teased their costumes on Twitter. Not surprisingly, they are already knocking Halloween out of the park by going as everyone’s favorite Game of Thrones characters, Daenerys Targaryen and Jaime Lannister.

According to ABC, this year’s celebration will feature over 70 costumes throughout the hour that play on pop culture phenomena such as Stranger Things, The Handmaid’s Tale and, you guessed it, Game of Thrones. As the name of this year’s celebration suggests, Taylor Swift’s viral hit “Look What You Made Me Do” will be a recurring motif as well.
Guests making an appearance for the festive show include Watch What Happens Live‘s Andy Cohen, Property Brothers‘ Drew and Jonathan Scott, Bachelor host Chris Harrison and digital influencer Colleen Ballinger (aka Miranda Sings).
No word yet on whether or not Ripa plans to charm any dragons during the segment.
