There’s another baby on the way, and this time, it’s a first-time parent who’s expecting. Joy-Anna Duggar just announced that she and her husband, Austin Forsyth, are expecting their first baby, though they haven’t revealed exactly when the little one is expected to arrive.

“We’re so happy and thankful to announce that we’re expecting a baby,” Duggar told People magazine in an exclusive statement. “Every child is such a precious gift from God. I’m most looking forward to watching Austin as a dad and raising children together with him.”
She continued, “I have a lot of good memories of my mom teaching us and the quality time we spent together, and I’m really looking forward to doing that with my own children. It’s such an amazing thing to be a parent and raise children.”
Forsyth is also looking forward to stepping into his new role of dad. “I’m really looking forward to the journey of this pregnancy and all the different stages it will bring,” he said. “It’s really exciting and I feel so blessed to be a dad! We are beyond thankful!”

Duggar and Forsyth have only been married since May, when they tied the knot at Cross Church in Rogers, Arkansas, with about 1,000 family and friends there to see their big day. They got married after a whirlwind three-month engagement, but they’ve known each other since Forsyth’s family moved to Arkansas and started going to the same church as the Duggars 15 years ago.
Right after their wedding, Duggar revealed that she has plans for a big family like the one she came from. “We want as many as the Lord thinks we can handle,” she said at the time. “And we are putting it into his hands.”
