The Voice Just Announced Season 13 Advisors, & It’s About to Get Even Twangier

Fun fact: The Voice can now boast two men on the show who once sported mullets. The hit NBC singing competition has revealed its advisors for the upcoming season, and among the talented mentors is none other than Miley Cyrus’ dad, Billy Ray, aka the man who took the “business in the front, party in back” hairstyle mainstream in the ’90s. Move over, Blake Shelton! There’s a new mullet in town.

In true Miley form, the crossover star shared the news on Instagram, gushing, “#TeamMiley!!!!! @billyraycyrus is my Team Advisor!!!! #TeamDad @nbcthevoice.”
She wasn’t the only one stoked about who she scored as a mentor for the rapidly approaching 13th season of the popular show, either. Also taking to social media was fellow coach Adam Levine, who posted an Instagram video of someone kicking over his “Reserved for Mr. Levine” parking cone.

The caption? “Watch it, @joejonas, I can tell those are your adorable little feet. Don’t you dare park there.” Yep, as in Joe Jonas, formerly of Jonas Brothers and now DNCE fame. How can we possibly handle that much adorable-dude star power in one space? More pointedly, how can Levine and Shelton’s bromance?

While Shelton hasn’t yet publicly acknowledged the mentor news, he did coincidentally post a throwback photo (well hello, mullet!) on Instagram a week ago with the country superstars who’ll be helping him out: Rascal Flatts.

Rounding out the judge’s panel this season is the award-winning singer and actor Jennifer Hudson, who tapped R&B singer Kelly Rowland as her team’s mentor. She hasn’t yet posted about it on social media, but, really, who wouldn’t be excited about this matchup?
