Carrie Underwood's Living Her Best Life at the Stanley Cup Finals
Country legend Tammy Wynette timelessly sang about standing by your man, and we're thinking Carrie Underwood took those twangy words to heart. She didn't just show up for hubby Mike Fisher as he plays for the Stanley Cup — she took the stadium by storm as his No. 1 fan and has been YOLO'ing her way through the week.
Seriously, if you haven't been following her Insta posts, you're missing out on a serious thirdhand happiness buzz.
It all started on May 28, when Underwood made it clear she was headed to Nashville to cheer her team captain hubby on during the championship games. Chic yet sporty stack of luggage in Fisher's Nashville Predators blue? Check!
Pic with the Fisher fam in preparation for game day shenanigans? Double check!
Naturally, she and BFF Ivey Childers (wife to Underwood's music director/bass player, Mark) got into the spirit by striking their most Predatory pose.
The week was made all the more special on Monday night, which marked the hub's birthday. Underwood wrote a special (and, OK, kinda cheesy, but in the best way possible) post to gush about her hockey stud.
And the country crooner's excitement for the week understandably bubbled over when she got to meet the man, the myth, the "great one" himself, Mr. Wayne Gretzky.
But all of this enthusiasm pales in comparison to how Underwood obviously feels when Fisher's team takes home a W for the night.
As Underwood would say, "Go Preds!" There's no telling how the country superstar will commemorate the occasion if her husband's team takes Game 5 on Thursday. She's living her best life at the Stanley Cup, and we are here for it.
