ABC just dished out some news so juicy it makes us want to track down Chris Harrison and gobble him up. The scoop? The reveal of the men and women vying for each other’s hearts (or whatever) in Mexico on this season’s Bachelor in Paradise.
Judging by the fact DeMario made the cut, it seems safe to say some unfortunate soul — or souls — may suffer from an acute case of heartburn during the romantic vacay. Here’s hoping it’s one of the actual contestants and not another surprise spurned lover.
But, hey, in DeMario’s defense, it’s highly unlikely he’ll be the only one breaking hearts and taking names.
Arch enemies Taylor Nolan and Corinne Olympios from Nick’s season will both be in attendance, so we all know that’s going nowhere good fast. Still, can we go ahead and be excited that guilty pleasure Corinne will be there making cheese pasta and taking day naps?
Jasmine Goode, also from Nick’s season, will be on hand as well. A fan favorite, her outspoken personality could certainly lend itself to cabana-side conflict.

And who could possibly forget proud Marine Alex Woytkiw from JoJo’s season? Although he could be endearing at times, he also came off as loud and aggressive. Let’s go ahead and count on him butting heads with at least one of the other dudes on deck.
Also among this year’s participants are a few true standouts from Bachelor and Bachelorette seasons past — like, for starters, Raven Gates from Nick’s season! Since we couldn’t have both Raven and Rachel as our current Bachelorette, this is the next best thing.
Back once more is the always-beautiful Amanda Stanton, who left Paradise last season with a rock on her finger from controversial former Bachelor Josh Murray. The breakup has been contentious to say the least, so Stanton could use a little R&R. A hunky shoulder to cry on might help too.
We also can’t wait to see what’s in store for super-sweet ladies Danielle Maltby and Kristina Schulman from Nick’s season, both of whom memorably got caught off guard when Nick sent them packing outside of rose ceremonies in the same week.
Could one of them find the romance they deserve with dear, precious-hearted and incredibly handsome personal trainer Ben Zorn from Kaitlyn’s season? Fingers crossed for a love connection there.
Rounding out the cast will be Alexis Waters (dolphin suit TBD) and Lacey Mark from Nick’s season along with Derek Peth, “St. Nick” Benvenutti, Robby Hayes and Vinny Ventiera from JoJo’s season.
So buckle up, Bachelor Nation… it’s bound to be a bumpy ride.
