Perpetual Bachelor Leonardo DiCaprio Is Back on the Market
Sad news for Leonardo DiCaprio and Nina Agdal, but great news for the rest of us: Both of these beautiful, beautiful people are back on the dating market!
Sources say that after just over a year of dating, Agdal and DiCaprio have mutually and amicably decided to go their separate ways.
"They split up early this week and they remain friends," a source close to both parties told Page Six.
It's a sudden end to their globe-trotting romance, which started (publicly, at least) in May of last year, when they were spotted together at the Up and Down Club in New York with a group of friends. In June, they were photographed together in Montauk, and since then, paparazzi have caught them together in the Bahamas, Ibiza, French Polynesia, Cancun, St. Bart's and all over the U.S., though primarily in New York and Los Angeles.
The last time the were seen out together in public before their breakup was announced was earlier this month; on May 9, they were seen getting sushi together in West Hollywood, though onlookers said the lunch date was noticeably cool and free of PDA. When they left together, they lingered outside the restaurant, and photos showed DiCaprio on his phone rather than paying attention to his then-girlfriend.
Just before that, DiCaprio was spotted several times without Agdal, including at Coachella, where he hung out with his bro Orlando Bloom.
As much as we loved DiCaprio and Agdal together, we can't say we're surprised that they've called it quits. DiCaprio seems intent on staying a bachelor forever. And we can't complain about that — as long as he stays available, we can keep dreaming.
