Christina El Moussa may have broken things off with her contractor boyfriend Gary Anderson, but that doesn't necessarily mean she's jumping right into the dating pool.

El Moussa was spotted at an Anaheim Ducks hockey game this week with an unidentified man, so of course the internet is just screaming relationship rumors. But why do we have to assume El Moussa and this mystery guy are ~a thing~ just because they were seen together one time? Have some chill, internet.

"She was in a really good mood," an onlooker told E! News. "They were standing together, clapping alone and with everyone else."

Is it just me, or does that not really sound like a romantic time? They were standing together at a hockey game they went to, not at the altar, people.

El Moussa's rep even spoke to E! to expressly deny the rumors that she's dating this guy, whoever he may be.

"She is single and not dating anyone," the rep said. "He is just a friend."

OK. Mystery solved. It was just a friend, and they went to a hockey game. Can we all just agree right now that we're not going to speculate about the relationship status of every man El Moussa is ever seen with? It feels kind of sexist. Can't we accept the fact that she has male friends? Women can have male friends. We're living in the 21st century, after all. And El Moussa certainly doesn't have to be in a relationship constantly. Can't strong women like El Moussa just be single and hang with their families and film their wildly popular TV show and work on other projects? Isn't that enough? Internet, do better on this one.
