We know Janet Jackson has a brand-new son, but a secret daughter? One woman claims it’s true.
A woman named Tiffany Whyte has come forward claiming she is the hidden daughter of Jackson and her first husband, James DeBarge. It all sounds like some real Jerry Springer shit, except Whyte has the receipts: She took a DNA test with DeBarge’s mother, Etterlene DeBarge, that shows she is Etterlene DeBarge’s paternal granddaughter.

Jackson wasn’t included in the DNA test, but Whyte is 31, which means she was born close to the time Jackson and DeBarge were married. Whyte was raised in the foster care system, and another definite possibility is that DeBarge is her father, but she was the result of an affair — DeBarge and Jackson had a contentious marriage that lasted just over a year.
Regardless, Whyte is pretty convinced that Jackson is her mother, and she gave an interview to Radar Online about her intentions in coming forward with that information now.

“She has been denying me for many years,” Whyte said about Jackson. “I’ve waited 31 years. I’ve been kept a secret for a very long time and I want people to know the truth that I’m not a liar.”
She continued, “Now it’s time for me to tell my truth. Now that I got the DNA from my grandmother, that it is a possibility… No, it is for sure that they are my parents, she’s my grandmother, those [sic] are my family and it’s time for me to tell the truth.”
Etterlene DeBarge is backing up Whyte’s claims, saying the DNA test was her idea and that out of many women who have come forward claiming to be Jackson’s daughter, she believes Whyte.

Jackson, who has been keeping a low profile since her son was born in January, hasn’t addressed Whyte or Etterlene DeBarge since they came forward.
