Scratch that. He definitely wasn't too busy.

Trump blasted off a hate-filled tweet at the Governator, saying Schwarzenegger didn't leave of his own accord but was fired. And because Trump can't let any tweet go without a good ol' insult, he threw in that Schwarzenegger's ratings while on the show were "pathetic."

Schwarzenegger was on his Twitter game because he quickly responded to the president, encouraging him to get himself a new fact checker. This might be a good move just in general for the health of our country. Forget Celebrity Apprentice.

Schwarzenegger announced he was leaving the NBC show on Friday in a statement, explaining, "I loved every second of working with NBC and Mark Burnett. Everyone — from the celebrities to the crew to the marketing department — was a straight 10, and I would absolutely work with all of them again on a show that doesn't have this baggage."

He didn't specify what he meant by "baggage," but not even Trump needed a translator to get Schwarzenegger's drift.

This isn't the first time Schwarzenegger and Trump have come to Twitter words over Celebrity Apprentice, but I'm guessing it will probably be the last, because Schwarzenegger is wiping his hands of the whole thing.
