Tabloids aren't going to destroy Anna Faris & Chris Pratt — they're #goals
Even the happiest married couples in Hollywood are sometimes subjected to rumors about their relationships, and unsurprisingly, these can really take their toll — which is what Anna Faris recently admitted.
According to Us Weekly, while interviewing Isla Fisher as part of her Anna Faris Is Unqualified podcast, Faris admitted that she struggled with the pressure of being in such a public relationship with husband Chris Pratt.
"Chris and I, we talk about this a lot," Faris said. "We grapple with a lot of the ideas of being a public couple" — and their relationship was put to the test when infidelity rumors begun circling last year.
Faris revealed that although she initially tried to brush off the rumors, they did have an effect. "I just remember feeling so hurt in a way that bothered me because I didn't want to think of myself as somebody who could be affected by tabloid shit," she confessed.
Fisher questioned what exactly it was about the rumors that got under Faris' skin, to which she answered that it was partly because she takes pride in her wonderful relationship with Pratt, and that she was also left feeling vulnerable.
"In this crazy world where he's off doing movies and I'm in LA raising our child, of course I'm going to feel vulnerable, like any normal human would," she said. Adding that the rumors made her feel "incredibly insecure."
Yeah, even the strongest couples are affected by the damning allegations that circle in the media, and we applaud Faris for being able to admit that she's human like the rest of us and that sometimes, things just get to her.
