Kanye West's homecoming from hospital was quite a party

Kanye West returned home on Wednesday, Nov. 30 following his hospitalization in the UCLA Medical Center in Los Angeles, and the day was very special for two reasons: West is obviously doing better and will now be able to rest at home and it was his son Saint West's first birthday.

A source told E! News that the Kardashian and Jenner family (minus Kendall Jenner, who was in Paris as part of the Victoria's Secret fashion show) held a small celebration for West and baby Saint, gathering to eat cake and doughnuts while surrounded by blue and silver decorations.

According to the publication, West's decision to head home was for several reasons, but one of the most important was his children, North and Saint — who, according to a source, "are very happy and don't really have any idea what's happening with their dad."

Despite the rough few months that West and his wife Kim Kardashian West have been through, this latest health scare appears to have only made their relationship stronger, with multiple reports about how Kardashian didn't leave her husband's side during his hospitalization.

A source also touched on this, telling E! News that the Wests "both have been through a lot but are staying strong as a married couple and helping one another get back up."

We're glad to hear West is doing better — and that was quite a welcome home party he got!
