It’s been four years, but we’re still holding out for a One Tree Hill reunion.
While we’re totally on board with the hit series coming back (the final episode aired on April 4, 2012), what are the chances of this happening, really? Well, Sophia Bush has just given us that answer.
During a recent interview with E! News, Bush spoke about how she’d be attending the One Tree Hill convention in May of 2017 and whether or not there’s the possibility of an actual reunion or a reboot.
“I don’t know how I could cut myself in half to make that happen because I shoot Chicago P.D. for 10 months out of the year,” she said. “I guess if the stars align for all of the producers who have other jobs to do another job and then miraculously 15 people could manage to be free for a special, that would be cool. I just don’t know how we would ever make it work, but it’s certainly flattering that people want us to.”
OK, so that doesn’t sound like the most promising answer ever, we admit. But it’s not a definite no either, so maybe, just maybe, if enough of us rally around the thought of a One Tree Hill reunion, then Bush and her co-stars will reprise their roles.
Speaking of which, Bush also shed light on the direction she thinks her character, Brooke Davis’ life would have gone after all these years.
“I think still running companies,” Bush said of Brooke. “I think she absolutely would have been a leader in the tech market and would have an incredible app. Brooke’s app would be great. Maybe we should make it anyway.”
