Jennifer Lopez is a beautiful woman, and on Thursday, she decided to celebrate her womanhood by taking to Instagram to share a selfie.

In the snap, Lopez can be seen sporting a black bodysuit, and that's about the extent of it, as her curves (and side boob) are on full display. But it's the caption that really caught our attention, as Lopez shared an inspiring message with fans about loving themselves. She wrote, "#loveyourselffirst #feelingempowered #healthybodyhealthymind."

The comment section of the post has been filled with positive comments as fans react to Lopez's beauty (and she was clearly blessed with some incredible genes) and praise her for being "body goals." But what should also be commended is Lopez's positive mindset.

However there was also a fair amount of backlash from people who completely misunderstood that the point of the post was to celebrate her body (and women's bodies in general) not to shame it. Some have called Lopez out for showing too much skin, while others have criticized her for having "low self esteem."

"You have very low self esteem to have to show your body like that to strangers," marloweterry commented. Horseygirlcinnamon was also unimpressed, writing, "I think you show enough of your butt ewwwwwwww."

Of course, they're wrong!
