Here's a name that hasn't been in the news in a while: Angus T. Jones.

The former Two and a Half Men actor is well-known for his religious views — and the ranting interview he gave in 2012 urging viewers of the show that made him famous to stop watching because it was "filth."

While Jones walked back on what he said less than a day later, he still left the show in 2013, and recently told People magazine that he feels like he made the right call at the time.

"You cannot be a true God-fearing person and be on a television show like that," he told the magazine.

Since then, Jones has been studying at the University of Colorado Boulder and working for some faith-based organizations. But could he make a return to acting? He's not ruling it out.

Jones, who is taking a break from school at the moment, also told People that appearing on Two and a Half Men's finale made him realize that he kind of misses acting.

"Getting to be back on the set with everyone again kind of showed me how much I did like it," he admitted.

Still, don't expect to see Jones back on your TV screen right away.

"The door is definitely still open for me to do that, but I’m taking things slowly," he explained.

And who even knows what his return to acting might look like? Other actors who turned more toward their religious sides made the call to stick with projects that promote their faith (Kirk Cameron, anyone?). Even if Jones does decide to make the leap back into acting, he may not choose another mainstream TV show like Two and a Half Men.
