It’s no secret that Mark Cuban is not a huge fan of Donald Trump, and he just revealed some information in an interview with CNN’s Don Lemon that gives us a little more insight as to why.
In a phone interview with Lemon this week, Cuban said that not only does he believe the multiple women who have come forward to accuse Trump of sexual abuse, but he also personally knows someone who has been abused by Trump.
“Yes, and I know one,” Cuban responded when Lemon asked if he had ever heard anything like the women coming forward alleged. “And it just didn’t happen recently. My friend reminded me, and it was from 2000. And she, you know, I don’t expect her to come forward. I wouldn’t recommend she come forward. I know somebody else from two years ago that won’t come forward. So, you know, it’s not anything that caught me by surprise.”
Cuban didn’t want to give details about the alleged assault Trump inflicted upon his friends, but he did say that he doesn’t have any doubt that all of the public allegations against Trump are true.
“I can tell you, my friend that was dating this one woman, just reminded me of the story they told me right after it happened,” Cuban said. “They put it all down in detail and obviously I remembered it. And then I had another person who contacted me after the race started and told me a story. I don’t want to go into it — it’s all second- and third-hand — other than to say it’s factually true. I don’t have any doubts that what we’re hearing is true.”
But despite the hits that Trump has been taking as of late, Cuban doesn’t think it will slow Trump’s roll in his quest for president.
“He’s not the kind of guy you can knock out simply because, you know, there are some guys that are knocked out, they’re out of business, they’re unconscious, but they just don’t know it, and that’s Donald Trump,” Cuban told Lemon. “He’ll keep getting up. He just won’t know where he is.”
