The Voice‘s Adam Levine was accused of abusing his wife, Behati Prinsloo, as well as their 1-month-old daughter, Dusty Rose.
According to TMZ, last Wednesday, an anonymous caller phoned the Los Angeles Police Department’s Juvenile Division claiming that Levine had “struck his wife so hard it knocked her to the ground,” and that he had hit his infant daughter in the face.
Investigators reportedly spoke to Prinsloo and examined both her and her daughter. They found no visible injuries, and concluded that the claims were unfounded. Sources told the publication that there will be no further investigation, and the case is considered closed.
How does Levine feel about what happened?
Sources close to the singer reportedly told TMZ that while he’s pleased the police department did their job so quickly and professionally, he feels it’s unfair being in the public eye means you sometimes “fall victim to false, atrocious allegations,” according to TMZ.
