Kerry Washington gave her son a Hebrew name, just like his sister
Kerry Washington is officially a mom of two!
Washington, who keeps the press far, far out of her business, didn't reveal the birth of her first daughter, Isabelle, until two weeks after she delivered. She also secretly wed her husband, Nnamdi Asomugha, in 2013 without a soul catching on, and her pregnancy announcement was nothing more than her showing up to the White House Correspondents' Dinner sporting a baby bump. She's the queen of keeping her personal life personal.
This time, news of the birth of her second baby, a boy, hit headlines in 13 days, so the media must be getting marginally better at finding out information about this particularly reclusive star.
Her baby boy was reportedly born Oct. 5, and Washington and her husband have named him Caleb Kelechi. The name shares a little bit of a theme with his big sister's. They're both Hebrew names, and they both mean "devoted to God."
While details are obviously scarce surrounding little Caleb's birth and anything else about him — obviously, because Washington doesn't give any of this info away — she has spoken out on occasion about how much she loves being a mother.
"I will say I feel really, really blessed," she said in a Los Angeles Times interview after Isabelle was born. "I just feel really blessed that I'm kind of living extraordinary dreams come true in my work life and in my personal life."
