Ric Flair's claims that he had sex with Halle Berry are so wrong
Halle Berry is gorgeous and talented — plus she's newly single — and we understand why men want to be with her. But what's so gross is when men kiss and tell, which brings us to the latest Halle Berry story to make headlines: Wrestling legend Ric Flair claims he had sex with Berry before she was famous.
Flair reportedly made the claim during his podcast Ric Flair Show, in which he bragged about his sexual encounters, or, as he refers to them, who he's ridden Space Mountain with. He also stated that Berry was just one of "dozens" of celebrity conquests and that he'd hooked up with her in Atlanta shortly after her divorce from David Justice.
The whole thing is just so wrong. Even if the report is true — something which Berry's rep strongly denies — it's incredibly distasteful of Flair to speak about his past encounters with women without their consent. Just because Berry is a celebrity does not give people the right to talk about her sex life. She's a woman, a mother, a daughter and a friend, and it's offensive to sexualize her or refer to her as simply just another notch on someone's bedpost.
A TMZ source expanded on Flair's claims, saying, "There is NO truth to this! Halle has literally never even heard of him let alone met him!!!" But this source also made the most important comment of all, saying, "A man doesn't get to sexualize and lie about a woman he's never met to better himself or his name. It's offensive, demeaning and beyond misogynistic."
Honestly, we couldn't have said it better ourselves!
