Prince George & Princess Charlotte have definitely set the bar for playdates
When the royal family does playdates, you know you can expect greatness.
All the stops were pulled out for very special party guests Prince George and Princess Charlotte at a bash for military families at Victoria's Government House. Balloons, bubbles, a petting zoo, a puppet show… This is the young royals' first official public appearance since their arrival in Canada last Saturday, and they look like they're having the best time ever.
Princess Charlotte was dressed for the occasion in a blue and coral smocked dress by Pepa & Co, while her big brother was in a red and blue outfit of shirt, shorts and cardigan.
Princess Charlotte was rather taken with the therapy dogs.
Prince George was a little reticent at first, definitely living up to his reputation as the more reserved of the siblings.
But he's a child, and we all know the powerful effects bubbles have on our little ones.
The star attraction for 16-month-old Princess Charlotte was clearly the balloon arch. She couldn't get enough of it.
In fact, at one point she was determined to lift the entire thing off the ground before giving up and deciding just to try to destroy it.
There's even video evidence of her efforts.
The Duke and Duchess of Cambridge and their children continue their royal tour of Canada until Saturday Oct. 1.
