Lindsay Lohan's ex is calling bull on her claims that she paid for everything
In recent weeks, Lindsay Lohan has opened up about her former fiancé, Egor Tarabasov, and their time together — and her comments paint a terrifying picture of the alleged abuse and fear she suffered while with him. But Tarabasov denies all her allegations.
Nonetheless, they continue: Lohan reportedly told Russian television's Channel One that Tarabasov did not contribute financially to the relationship, but sources connected to the businessman say those claims are completely false — and actually, it's quite the opposite, TMZ reports.
This is not the first-time that Tarabasov has been accused of being a user, as Lohan's father, Michael Lohan, previously expressed his disdain for him during an interview with Star magazine. "I have no idea [if he's wealthy]. All I know is my daughter is paying most of the bills and trips were complimentary because of Lindsay's name," Michael stated. "She was a segueway [sic] for him to live that lifestyle..."
While Michael's comments cast doubt on Tarabasov's wealth, sources tell TMZ that between himself and Lohan, he was definitely the breadwinner and even covered "thousands of dollars in bills Lindsay racked up during the filming [of] her latest movie."
In addition to allegedly covering Lohan's debts, Tarabasov also gave her access to his credit card, which she reportedly used to buy gifts for not only herself, but her entire family. The claims that he didn't pay for her emerald engagement ring are reportedly also untrue.
As for Tarabasov's wealth? According to TMZ, he reportedly has "a steady income" from several investments, as well serving as director for a couple of European firms.
It's sad that this relationship has become so bitter and that so much of it is playing out in the media, and we hope in the future that these two put their differences aside and move on with their lives.
