Hillary Clinton really regrets her Between Two Ferns interview — but we don’t

Zach Galifianakis is possibly my favorite person ever, and his web series Between Two Ferns cracks me up. He’s quite the experienced host these days, having interviewed high-profile people like Brad Pitt, President Barack Obama, Jennifer Lawrence, Natalie Portman, Bradley Cooper and more, but it’s been a while since he’s given us some new stuff.

From what I could find, Galifianakis hasn’t done a new Between the Ferns segment since October 2014, so it was about damn time he pulled out the ol’ plastic ferns and roasted someone. After a nearly two-year hiatus, he had to pick someone big, someone who has a lot to talk about… someone who can draw a crowd. Who better than presidential nominee Hillary Clinton? Let me tell you, friends, the result is everything.

Galifianakis asked questions related to things anti-Clinton supporters are always screaming about: Donald Trump’s wedding, Chelsea Clinton and Ivanka Trump’s close friendship, the chances of Clinton getting pregnant while in the White House… Actually, maybe Galifianakis came up with that one. He made a comment about the email controversy, and if you pay close attention, her lower third only credits her to having pneumonia.

Since he had Clinton there, he also took the opportunity to point out that if she wins the election, it will be the first time a “younger, younger generation” has seen a white president. What an astute observation that was.

It’s four minutes of laughs for everyone except Clinton (who was a good sport). Watch the segment below, but don’t get too excited, anti-Clinton supporters — I’m pretty sure Galifianakis is with Her because, well, his only other option is #Drumpf. Plus, the whole interview was Clinton’s idea. Apparently she loved Obama’s Between Two Ferns so much she had her people reach out to Galifianakis’ people, and the rest is beautiful, hilarious history.
