We're still thinking about the disaster that was Kanye's NYFW show
Even before Kanye West's Yeezy 4 fashion show started, it was making headlines (many considered his casting call to be very inappropriate) and the headlines just keep getting worse.
West debuted his collection in the Franklin D. Roosevelt Four Freedoms Park during New York Fashion Week and on Tidal on Wednesday, Sept. 7. But it turns out the show was a bit of (or a lot of) a disaster, with models not being able to walk in their sky-high heels, enduring fainting spells while in the hot sun and just looking downright miserable.
So, here's what else went down: The highly anticipated event reportedly started almost two hours late (that's a long time to be waiting around and doing nothing) and that was only the beginning of the disaster that was to come.
The New York Times fashion director Vanessa Friedman tweeted that the Kardashian clan only walked in an hour after the show was meant to already be underway.
They looked incredible though.
While Stella Bugbee, fashion editor at The Cut, commented on how a model passed out in the heat and no one from West's team helped her.
In fact, Bugbee was particularly unimpressed with how the events of the show panned out and took to Twitter to share her thoughts.
The models looked to be really suffering throughout the show.
However, Teyana Taylor happened to be one of them (and she slayed).
There are also multiple videos making their way around the internet that show models really struggling to walk in their shoes — and according to onlookers, the shoes were literally crumbling beneath them.
And one more...
Fans have also taken to Twitter to have their say about the Yeezy 4 fashion show — and boy, is it bad.
Um, it looks as though West may be hard-pressed to find people who want to attend his next show now.
