There’s been an incredible development in Tyga’s career this week. Kanye West decided to to sign him to his GOOD record label.

West announced the news at Highline Ballroom in New York City following his Yeezy Season 4 fashion show, where he told attendees that he had “two new good music signees, Tyga and Desiigner.” Of course, Tyga was thrilled with the news and took to Instagram to share his excitement, posting a video of West’s announcement.

But the internet has a lot to say about West’s decision, and people have made it perfectly clear that they think Tyga owes Kylie Jenner for his recent success.

In fact, more than a handful of people really wish that they too had someone like Jenner in their lives — say what you want about her, but you cannot deny her dedication to Tyga.

While it may be true that Tyga is basically family since he is dating West’s sister-in-law, we doubt that’s the only reason West decided to welcome him to his record label. As you may remember, this isn’t the first time West has shown interest in Tyga’s work. He was previously a producer on Tyga’s 2015 album, The Gold Album: 18th Dynasty. So is it really so hard to believe that he might just be a fan?
