DWTS literally has the craziest roster of contestants this season
As Dancing With the Stars continues to assemble their cast for the upcoming competition, one thing is becoming abundantly clear: Season 23 certainly won't be a boring one!
From reality stars to controversial athletes, this DWTS celebrity roster is unlike any other from previous seasons — and that's a bold statement.
Here's a little rundown on who we can look forward to so far:
First, hot off his sprint out of Rio and away from Brazilian police, Olympic swimmer Ryan Lochte is heavily rumored to be lacing up his dancing shoes. While it hasn't been officially announced Lochte will be on DWTS this season, inside sources say it's a done deal, according to USA Today, and word on the street is he would love to participate in the show to rehab his public image. It's all very Adam Cromwell on Season 1 of UnREAL.
Multiple sources have confirmed that Kardashian nemesis Amber Rose will cha-cha her way into our living rooms this fall, according to E! News, and I've got a pretty good feeling she might be the one to beat. We know the girl can twerk, but there's something about the way she carries herself that makes it seem like she will gracefully glide across a ballroom floor as well.
Kenneth "Babyface" Edmonds will lend some class to the season, according to E! News, and The Bachelorette's JoJo Fletcher is also rumored to be joining the cast — that is, if she can tear herself away from her new fiancé, Jordan Rodgers for long enough to squeeze in some rehearsals.
Little Women: LA's Terra Jolé is the latest celeb to join the 2016 lineup, according to Us Weekly, and since my Jolé fangirling dates all the way back to her 2002 appearance on MTV's True Life: I'm a Little Person, I couldn't be more excited. Plus, Jolé most definitely knows how to bring the reality TV drama and is a fabulous singer/dancer. It's a match made in DWTS heaven.
The official Season 23 cast will be announced in its entirety Aug. 30 on Good Morning America.
