The Real Housewives of Orange County's Lauri Peterson must be going through a very stressful time right now, because according to a new report from RadarOnline, her son, Josh Waring, is facing four new charges in an attempted murder case.

In June this year, Waring was arrested for attempting to shoot Daniel Lopez during an early morning altercation outside of a Costa Mesa sober home. At the time, Waring was reportedly facing three counts of attempted murder, three counts of personal use of a firearm and one count of inflicting great bodily injury — he pleaded not guilty to all three charges.

However, the case has since taken a dramatic turn after a hearing on Aug. 19 resulted in a slew of new charges for Waring, which according to RadarOnline are for "battery, hit and run with property damage, evading police/reckless driving, resisting arrest and obstructing an officer, and unlawful taking of a vehicle."

However, Waring has maintained his innocence, telling the publication that he absolutely did not shoot Lopez.

"I had a prior altercation that night," Waring revealed. "I was using [he admits to having previously consumed heroin and Xanax]. I was under the influence, and was chased off the property."

Waring claims that the incident was down to "bad timing," and that "someone came back and shot up the house. Just because of the fact I had priors, I was arrested."

However, Waring says he's trying to stay positive, but for now he remains behind bars with his bail set at $1 million.
