Blake Shelton & Gwen Stefani get their PDA on — at her son's birthday party
Gwen Stefani and Blake Shelton are really changing our minds on that whole "don't date a co-worker" cliché. The couple (and Voice co-stars) can't seem to stop collaborating... or making out in public.
Stefani threw her son Zuma a LEGO-themed party for his eighth birthday. Doesn't get more innocent than that, right? Wrong. Shelton and Stefani were all hugs and kisses, as revealed on her Snapchat. As Daily Mail reported, "Blake was never far from the singer's side." There's a line between cute and inappropriate, and it's a child's birthday party. We're happy they're happy, but maybe it would have been nice to take a break for an afternoon?
The couple could have just been extra loving thanks to a joint stage rush from performing in the Hamptons the night before. Stefani was scheduled to perform solo at a charity event for Harlem youth, Apollo in the Hamptons. But according to Daily Mail, Shelton did more than just break it down onstage. She brought Shelton up with her to perform their duet "Go Ahead and Break My Heart." After Shelton's surprise performance, he sat right up front and "holler[ed] his support." I love the image of Shelton cheering on his lady, and I have a feeling the rest of the Hamptons crowd did too.
According to Daily Mail, Shelton wasn't the only Voice co-star to join Stefani's set. Pharrell Williams jumped onstage to sing "Hollaback Girl," while J. Lo and Shelton danced in the audience. Can you believe we missed this show?
