If Yolanda Foster is angling to join the RHONY, we are so in
Yolanda Foster Hadid has exited The Real Housewives of Beverly Hills, but that doesn't mean she's done with Bravo, reality TV, or the Real Housewives franchise. According to sources, Hadid has been spending time in New York, where her daughter, supermodel Gigi Hadid, lives and is in talks with Bravo in regard to joining the cast of The Real Housewives of New York.
Hadid has had a tough couple of years to put it mildly. In addition to her well-documented battle with Lyme disease, she also had a super-dramatic final season on RHOBH, where castmate Lisa Rinna accused her of faking her illness and having Munchausen syndrome. And of course, there's her divorce from David Foster. It's basically out of the question that Hadid would ever return to RHOBH, although she is on good terms with Bravo producers.
Hadid did appear on an episode of RHONY back in 2015, when she visited the city with Brandi Glanville and hung out with former RHONY star Kristen Taekman. It was a fun scene to watch, full of gossip and tales of pre-reality star shenanigans (like Taekman almost going home with an Elvis impersonator on the night of her bachelorette party), and at the time, it seemed like Hadid gelled well with the cast. Apparently, producers of RHONY have some concerns about how her more laid-back personality would work with those of the RHONY cast (specifically Bethenny Frankel), but that could make for some truly excellent television and a ratings boost for the show. While it could be totally great to see Hadid on RHONY, she did leave Beverly Hills in order to take better care of her health, and getting back into the shooting schedule for a reality show might not lend itself so well to that, but let's not discount the possibility of Hadid soon having a tagline with New York City in the background.
