Ever since Vanderpump Rules‘ Tom Schwartz and Katie Maloney got engaged, fans have been waiting to see the two finally walk down the aisle. Well, it’s happening soon and the details surrounding their upcoming nuptials sound absolutely gorgeous.
While chatting with E! News, Tom and Katie dished about their wedding day. Based on the teasers, it definitely sounds like their big day will be exactly what they’ve been hoping for. Unfortunately, they didn’t reveal a date or the venue, but it will take place in Northern California with around 100 guests in attendance.
“The thing I’m excited about most in regards to the wedding is the venue,” Schwartz revealed. “It’s picturesque. We wanted to be secluded and in the woods and we are just that. It’s so pretty. Our theme is woodsy-elegance and the thing I’m most, most excited about is that we get to have so many of our close family and friends there. It just makes it that much more special.”
Doesn’t that sound like Schwartz and Maloney? They are unique and it appears that their wedding will incorporate that.
Their outfits fall in that category too. Schwartz is wearing a custom-designed tuxedo. As for Maloney, she can’t wait to walk down the aisle in her gown. “My dress, when I put it on, I got goose bumps and I knew that was the dress I was going to marry him in and it had all the elements that I really, really wanted,” she told E! News. “I tried on some other dresses that were a little too bridal for me and then I put this on. For me, it’s unique and it’s different and it’s very me.”
Based on their Instagram accounts, it seems like the wedding is right around the corner. The happy couple and most of the Vanderpump Rules cast went to New Orleans for a joint bachelor and bachelorette party, E! News reported in July.
Pretty much everyone in attendance shared photos through social media, and it looked like the celebration went off without a hitch. Though, there easily could’ve been drama because this the Sur gang, right?
Here’s hoping that their trip to The Big Easy was filmed for Season 5 of Vanderpump Rules, too. I’d be surprised if it weren’t, because when don’t these reality stars share everything about their lives on the small screen? It’d be disappointing if fans didn’t get to watch anything go down (especially since it took forever to Schwartz to propose).
Maybe, just maybe, Schwartz and Maloney will even get their own wedding special. Though, if Scheana Marie and Michael Shay didn’t, then their friends/co-stars probably won’t either. Whatever the case, it wouldn’t be a Vanderpump Rules wedding without it being filmed for TV. Now, let’s just keep those fingers crossed that their wedding will live up to all of the hype.
