Reza Farahan’s got a bigger heart than I do if he plans to forgive Golnesa

Right, we all know Shahs of Sunset is not short on drama, but the reunion show really dropped a bombshell: Golnesa “GG” Gharachedaghi admitted to lying about having a sex tape of Reza Farahan.

Gharachedaghi and Farahan had a very heated argument at the end of the season about her reportedly being in possession of a sex tape of him giving oral sex to another man. But during the second part of the reunion show on Wednesday, Aug. 3, Gharachedaghi changed her tune and told Farahan that she felt “horrible.”

Um, what?

“Hundred percent I apologize, Reza, for lying that I had it. I apologize for if I ever said I saw it. I am apologizing for all the damage it might have caused as well for my lies,” Gharachedaghi said. But she also wanted an apology from Farahan because he doubted the fact that she has rheumatoid arthritis.

This made my jaw drop, seriously. Imagine the anguish Farahan must have been going through, thinking that at any point an intimate tape of him engaged in deeds he never thought would see the light of day could be exposed and how even the rumor of a sex tape could affect his professional credibility.

Imagine knowing that someone had that power over you. And then imagine how you would feel knowing they had lied about the whole thing just to cause you harm. That’s pretty darn low if you ask me.

The tape was also harming his marriage, as Farahan was in tears when he revealed that the tape had left his husband, Adam Neely, humiliated and hurt.

“Here I am with this guy that I love so much, that I just married — the story about the sex tape was hurting him, not me, and it was humiliating and hurtful to him,” Farahan confessed, Daily Mail reports.

But is Gharachedaghi’s apology too little too late? I mean, if I were Farahan, I’m not sure I would be able to forgive her for what she’s done and mend the broken friendship, and the internet seems to agree.

Gharachedaghi took to Instagram to share a message about forgiveness, but not all comments are very supportive.

“I think you need rehab GG! Get some help!” nabrina_xo commented. gabby_nyc shared these thoughts, writing, “GG Needs serious therapy.”

“Glad that you and Reza decided that there was hope for your friendship,” bebe10025 wrote. “However i think that you do need some therapy so that you can get to the bottom of what is going on with you. Good luck and God bless.”

Would you forgive Golnesa Gharachedaghi for her lie? Knowing how much damage it caused? Or should we applaud her for apologizing at all? Share your thoughts with us in the comments below.
