ICYMI: Biggest stories about Hollywood's most beloved couples this week
From surprise engagements to the big "D" word, it was a crazy week in the lives of our favorite (and not-so-favorite) celebs.
In case you missed it, here's a roundup of all the action.
1. Angelina Jolie and Brad Pitt are looking to expand their brood
Rumors are (always) flying that these two are on the verge of a breakup, but this week the gossip mill says that they are actually looking to add to their family, not break it apart.
"They’re celebrating saving their marriage with the best present possible: a seventh child," a source told InTouch magazine. "Now that the divorce is off and they’re back on track, they feel adopting another child will strengthen their relationship even more."
2. Bradley Cooper and Irina Shayk continue their love tour
These two always look like they are having the best time together, right? I mean, after their PDA-filled trip to Wimbledon, and now the lovely-dovey images from the Democratic National Convention, we can definitely see these two in it for the long haul.
Just a little bit of sarcasm there, folks.
3. Another Duggar is betrothed
Jinger Duggar got engaged to former pro soccer player Jeremy Vuolo this week, and the Duggar clan is already buying baby clothes.
OK, so, it's not confirmed that they are already planning for a baby, but the family is obviously excited to add to the crew since that's just what they do.
"We are so thrilled to be able to congratulate Jeremy and Jinger on their engagement," said Jinger's brother-in-law, Ben Seewald. "We've been able to be alongside them through this whole process and we're just super-pumped for what God has in store for them in the future. We're just excited."
4. Another Duggar says something completely insane
Jim Bob and Michelle Duggar were obviously high on Jinger's engagement announcement when they decided to give some misinformation about birth control, saying that the pill can cause an unintended abortion.
"The pill caused her to miscarry," Jim Bob said of Michelle. "We talked to a Christian doctor and he explained that the pill could be abortive."
That's good ole Jim Bob, for ya.
5. Rob Kardashian and Blac Chyna break up (we think)
Breakup rumors abounded this week when Kardashian deleted all traces of Chyna from his Instagram account. However, a People source says they're just having a lover's quarrel, and they aren't really done for good.
Considering this isn't Kardashian's first rodeo going on a weird deleting rampage on social media, we're kinda inclined to believe People's insider.
6. Mary J. Blige is getting divorced
According to TMZ, Blige filed for divorce from her husband/manager of 12 years, Martin "Kendu" Isaacs. On divorce documents, Blige listed the date of separation as "to be determined" and cited the age-old irreconcilable differences as the reason for the split.
We all know how Blige feels about drama, so hopefully, everything will go smoothly for her.
7. Keshia Knight Pulliam's divorce drama gets messy
Despite the fact that Pulliam is pregnant, her estranged husband, Ed Hartwell, filed for divorce recently and stated infidelity on Pulliam's part as his reason for wanting out. But now, Pulliam is claiming the opposite is true and Hartwell was the one cheating on her, but she had previously made the decision to stay in the marriage because she was heartbroken and pregnant.
"Early on in my marriage when I was faced with this, I was ready to leave. It’s not OK," she said of Hartwell's alleged cheating. "In the process, I found out I was pregnant. And I had to take another hard look and decide if I wanted to try to work through this and forgive him for the sake of the child. Like, I had divorce papers ready. I presented it to him."
8. Ben Affleck and Jennifer Garner are never, ever, ever getting back together — like, ever
If recent rumors about Affleck and Garner planning a second honeymoon or Garner being pregnant with yet another one of Affleck's children had you holding on to hope that these two will reunite, well, don't hold your breath.
A People source says that their recent brief vacation to Paris was just a family gathering to keep things normal for the kids.
"Jennifer did not take Ben back," the source claims. "They are 100 percent still separated and focused on co-parenting for the kids' sake."
9. Things go atomic for Lindsay Lohan and her fiancé
We were so glad when Lohan announced that she was happy, in love and getting her life back on track, but this week things got a little strange and shades of the old Lohan began to emerge.
Apparently, police were called to Lohan's home after neighbors heard her screaming that her fiancé, Egor Tarabasov, had "almost killed her." Police smashed in the door, but the couple had reportedly already left and no arrests were made.
Lohan also took to social media to post a string of curious comments about Tarabasov, ranging from begging him to come home to accusing him of cheating on her with a Russian hooker.
