Whatever you do, don't ask Teresa Giudice about Joe's potential deportation
Teresa Giudice's legal problems and much of her life have played out on TV, and in many ways she's an open book, except when it comes to the topic of Joe's deportation.
Joe is currently serving time for conspiracy and fraud at Fort Dix Correctional Institution in New Jersey, and there has been much talk about whether or not he'll be deported upon completion of his prison sentence (as he's an Italian citizen), a question which Access Hollywood Live hosts Dave Karger and Kit Hoover wanted to address during an interview with Teresa and her sister-in-law Melissa Gorga, on Thursday, July 14.
"Do you worry that it’s the end of your family unit as you know it because there is all this talk that Joe could be deported since he's an Italian citizen. Do you think about that?" Dave Karger asked Giudice — and it was clear that Teresa found the question very hurtful.
"Next question, please," Giudice responded, before adding, "I don’t think that's something you should be asking."
However, Hoover disagreed with Giudice, saying that it was a question that many people have been asking, and since her life plays out on The Real Housewives of New Jersey the topic should be fair game; which resulted in Giudice dramatically storming off the set.
When the camera panned back to the women, Gorga had left the building, too, which, if nothing else, proves that her bond with Teresa is once again solid.
The hosts were left without anyone to interview, and Hoover defended their decision to ask the question, telling the audience, "First of all, this is a reality show and we’re watching her whole life play out, it's in the news, that this could be a fact and this is a totally fair question."
But how does Giudice feel post-interview?
She still appears to be fuming, as she retweeted a tweet about Hoover's question and accompanied it with the message: "Kit who?" Yikes.
