Josh Duggar makes a strange return to social media post-rehab
Josh Duggar just made his first social media appearance since returning from his seven-month stint in a faith-based rehab. He was photographed alongside numerous members of the Duggar clan dressed up like a cow this week.
While his choice of outfit sounds strange, he did have his reasons. Members of the family, mostly kids, dressed up like cows in order to to score some free food from Chick-fil-A for the restaurant chain's Cow Appreciation Day.
Duggar family friend Sierra Jo Dominguez posted a photo on Instagram with numerous members of the fam, including Josh, who appears to be wearing a white T-shirt with black cow spots drawn on it. Dominguez is reportedly the Duggar family's go-to party planner.
Chick-fil-A gave out free chicken on Cow Appreciation Day to anyone who showed up to one of their restaurants dressed like a cow.
It honestly isn't too surprising the Duggars would get so excited over an unofficial holiday all about free Chick-fil-A. The family known for their homophobic, transphobic and anti-LGBT beliefs seem to have a lot in common with the conservative restaurant chain that donates money to support anti-LGBT causes.
Something else that isn't a surprise: This isn't the Duggar family's first Cow Appreciation Day. They also suited up in cow attire last year to score some free chicken. Josh, however, was not in the family photo.
Since the Duggars have a lot of mouths to feed, they are apparently big fans of free food. They received 14-dozen free Krispy Kreme doughnuts last year when they dressed up like pirates for "International Talk Like a Pirate Day." However, a Texas yogurt shop recently received serious social media backlash after posting a photo of the Duggars in their store.
It was recently revealed that Josh won't be making an appearance on the upcoming season of the 19 Kids and Counting spinoff series, Jill & Jessa: Counting On. A source told Peoplethat any reports claiming he would be on the show were "absolutely untrue."
