Thrown from an inner tube, Craig Morgan's son has gone missing

Craig Morgan and Karen Greer are suffering through every parent's nightmare. Their 19-year-old son Jerry Greer has gone missing after a tubing trip with a friend. According to E! News, police are working to locate Greer, who was wearing his life jacket at the time but still went underwater.

The family's rep has made a statement explaining the situation: "Recent Dickson County High School graduate Jerry Greer (19), son of country music entertainer Craig Morgan and wife Karen Greer, went missing yesterday following a boating accident on Kentucky Lake in Humphreys County, Tennessee. Recovery efforts to locate him are underway. The family is grateful for everyone's support and prayers and requests privacy during this difficult time."

According to Rob Edwards, chief deputy from the Humphreys County Sheriff's Office, Greer's boating companion resurfaced after the capsize. The department is searching with "several boats."

Although there has been no official statement from Craig Morgan's Twitter account, family and friends, including fellow country star Brad Paisley, reached out online to send words of consolation. Chris Cagle also tweeted, "Please pray for Craig Morgan and his family! They are exceptional people and my heart goes out to his family! He is a great person!"

Craig and Karen have three other children, Alex, Kyle and Wyatt.
