What we know about Blac Chyna & Rob Kardashian's wedding so far
Rob Kardashian and Blac Chyna are getting closer and closer to their big day. Their whirlwind romance may have caught everyone off-guard, including his entire family, but that hasn't stopped them from sticking to their plan to get married. If the rumors are true, we're probably going to see the entire thing unfold on TV, but in the meantime, here is what we know so far about the wedding.
Despite the rumors that Kardashian and Chyna were planning to get married before she gives birth to their first child, the couple recently confirmed that will not be happening. And although they are not yet ready to reveal their exact wedding date, they do have one set for after the birth of their daughter.
"We have a date picked out. I obviously wanted to do it when I wasn't pregnant so we could turn up!" Chyna said during an interview during On Air with Ryan Seacrest. "We're just doing one step at a time. Like first the baby and having these things come first, and then I feel like the wedding will follow after. I feel like the baby is more important right at this moment."
When their nuptials do finally happen, we suspect there's going to be a pretty big bridal party — however, only some of Rob's sisters will be bridesmaids (and no word on which ones yet).
As for the groomsmen? Well, Rob is still undecided on that too.
"I got no friends," he explained. "And the guys in this family keep disappearing but Kanye [West]!"
OK, so that could mean that Kim Kardashian is going to be one of Chyna's bridesmaids since her husband will be up there with Rob at the altar, right? There have also been rumors that Kylie Jenner will be a bridesmaid, although that may be a little awkward given her current relationship with Tyga (Chyna's ex-boyfriend and baby daddy).
Insiders have also let it slip that the wedding will take place "someplace warm," but with temperatures in Los Angeles reaching 100 degrees just last week, that could be their own backyard.
However the details pan out, we'll be able to catch every bit of drama on TV. Ever the businesswoman, Kardashian’s mom, Kris Jenner, has convinced the couple to sell their ceremony, and probably the weeks leading up to it, as a separate show, so the whole thing will be on E! as fast as the editors can get through the footage.
The most important detail, though, is that Kardashian is the happiest and most confident he’s been in years. In my opinion, seeing him in love and happy will be the most heartwarming part of the entire ceremony.
