Brandi Glanville may want to keep her heartbreak out of the public eye
Brandi Glanville's divorce from Eddie Cibrian was apparently a lot harder on her than anyone expected.
Though the long, nasty divorce wasn't officially finalized until last year, Glanville and Cibrian actually split in 2009, after it was revealed that he was having an affair with LeAnn Rimes, with whom he was co-starring in a movie at the time. It wasn't Cibrian's first affair, but he eventually left Glanville and married Rimes.
Now, a new interview shows that Glanville still can't even talk about the affair without tearing up — seven years later.
"He worked a lot... traveled a lot for work, and I trusted him completely and fully," she says in the new clip on E! News. "And then, I went to visit him on a movie set, and for the first time, I felt like something was going on with the person that he was acting with. He told me I was crazy."
She continues, fighting back tears, "That morning I get a call from a bitchy mom that I'm not even friends with, and she says, 'Have you seen the cover of Us Weekly? LeAnn Rimes' affair with Eddie Cibrian.' So I go to the store, I get the magazine, panic attack, crying. It was on every cover of every magazine. It was there. It was real. I laid on my closet floor and just sobbed."
The timing of Glanville's interview is a little strange, considering she was just saying weeks ago that she and Rimes have buried the hatchet for the sake of the two sons that Glanville shares with Cibrian. It seems odd that she's dredging up all those old hurt feelings just when the two families seemed to be moving on.
