Forget acting — Megan Fox is investigating the truth behind the pyramids
Forget history books. Megan Fox has her own theories about things like the actual use for the pyramids of Egypt, and she's thinking about leaving acting behind so she can dedicate her time to exposing them.
In a profile of Fox written by the Los Angeles Times, we get to learn all about her plans for the future.
"I don’t think acting is my ultimate passion," she told the interviewer for the piece. "I have other skill sets and gifts that are much, much stronger that I am obligated to exercise and use. I’m really more intellectually minded."
Fox continued, "I’ve always been into alternative history, antiquities, archaeology. I’ve always been really consumed by these deep mysteries that exist on our planet that can’t be explained today by science. They eat away at me."
Those interests began on the set of Transformers: Revenge of the Fallen, which was filmed partially in Egypt. While there, Fox said she and co-star Shia LaBeouf were given a tour of the Great Pyramid by someone "high-ranking in that field — I will not say who," who let the stars in on a little secret: the pyramid was never actually meant to be a tomb like we've all been told. Scandal!
"They presume they may have been some type of energy plant at some point," Fox explained. "The sarcophagus that is in the Great Pyramid was put there by the government for tourism. And that sparked in me an interest in really exposing this sort of thing."
There you have it. History is nothing but a plot to drive up tourism to parts of the world like Egypt. Who knew?
